Billy Joe “Billy Bob” Milam, 49, of Bowling Green, died Dec. 5, 2010, at his residence.

The Warren County native was born Aug. 28, 1961. He was a farmer and a member of Glendale Baptist Church. He served in the Army and sold Mason’s Shoes. He was a member of the NRA. He loved the outdoors and loved working at Beech Bend. He was a son of the late Eldridge Milam Sr. and Norma Jane Lee Milam. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Faye Skillern and Debbie Kay Griffen.

Funeral is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Archie Newman Wilson Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Nichole Wingfield of Bowling Green; a son, Matthew Buchannon Milam of Bowling Green; a fiancee, Lisa Brown of Bowling Green; a sister, Mary Helen Storm and her husband, Jim, of Louisville; four brothers, Eldridge Milam Jr. and his wife, Kathy, and George Milam, both of Indiana, and Raymond Milam and his wife, Linda, and Donald Milam and his wife, Tina, all of Bowling Green; a granddaughter, Madison Wingfield of Bowling Green; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
