Catherine Litten

Catherine “Kate” Litten, 75, of Bowling Green died at 9:05 a.m. Dec. 17, 2007, at The Medical Center.

The Toledo, Ohio, native was a retired self-employed bookkeeper. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to shop and watch TV. She was a daughter of the late Jess Mominee and Cynthia Deleo Butler Mominee and the wife of the late Merle “Bud” Litten. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in First General Baptist Church Cemetery in Russellville. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include three sons, Don Litten and his wife, Karen, of Bowling Green, Jeff Litten and his wife, Karla, of Morgantown, and Willis Maxwell and his wife, Robin, of Murray; three daughters, Denise Carrender and her husband, Wayne, of Bowling Green, and Jane Sandlin and her husband, Tommy, and Jean Stuart and her husband, Terry, all of Russellville; a brother, Robert Mominee and his wife, Nancy, of Oregon, Ohio; two sisters, Virginia Nissen and Eunice Kettinger and her husband, Merle, all of Oregon, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Donny Litten, Roddy Litten, David and Daniel Litten, Jamie Newton, Mindy Sandlin, Trent Coleman, Connor Litten, Nate Maxwell, Demi Litten, Sara Maxwell and Ryder Litten; and three great-grandchildren, Lita Litten, Donavan Litten and Jonaven Sandlin.
