Gerald Lee Druen, 58, of Bowling Green died at 11:46 a.m. Dec. 10, 2007, at The Medical Center.

The Hart County native was born April 23, 1949. He was a unit manager for Philip Morris USA and retired after 27 years. He was a member of The Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed working on his farm, coaching youth sports and spending time with his family. He was a dedicated husband and devoted father and grandfather. He was a son of the late Willard Druen and Genrose Chaudion Druen.

Funeral is at 10 a.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery in Larue County. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Suzanne Marr Druen; two daughters, Shelley Burgess and her husband, Bryan, and Tonya Druen, all of Bowling Green; a son, Brandon Druen of Magnolia; three brothers, Bobby Druen and his wife, Barbara, of Glasgow, Dan Druen and his wife, Paula, of Lakeland, Fla., and Rick Druen and his wife, Karen, of Bowling Green; a sister, Rosalyn Stone and her husband, Tommy, of Munfordville; two grandchildren, Bradley and Andru Burgess; and several nieces and nephews.
