RUSSELLVILLE — James Harry Vick, 79, of Russellville died Dec. 19, 2007, at Logan Memorial Hospital.

The Logan County native was born Oct. 11, 1928. He was owner and operator of All State Pest Control and was a devout Christian. He was much loved by his family and friends. He was a son of the late Page Owen Vick and Minerva Lacy Vick. He was preceded in death by a brother, Drury Vick.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Post Oak Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Young Funeral Home and is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Brown Vick; four sons, Tony Vick of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Barry Vick of Russellville and Mark Vick and Kevin Edwards, both of Adairville; three daughters, Debbie Head of Adairville and Debbie Ford and Susan Law, both of Franklin; a brother, Buster Vick of Russellville; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
