HORSE CAVE – Freida Iona Smith, 70, of Horse Cave died at 4:30 p.m. July 3, 2007, at her home.

The Indiana native a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Vernon Money and Florence Kiebler Mattingly of Indiana, who survives.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home

Other survivors include her husband, Archie Smith; three daughters, Selena Denton and her husband, Jeff, and Dottie Durham and her companion, William Smith, all of Horse Cave, and Rhoda Gaskill and her husband, Mark, of Pekin, Ind.; a son, Jackie Durham and his wife, Wanda, of Florida; a stepdaughter, Janet White and her husband, Jim, of Indiana; a stepson, Jr. Smith of Indiana; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janice Roberts of Louisville and Lula Burns and Betty Hedrick, both of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
