€This year during Lent, The Presbyterian Church is making a &#8220Journey to Jerusalem” from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Wednesday through March 28. Using the language of travel, our community of faith will be organized into passport-carrying travelers, sojourners and pilgrims. Learning centers will become locales, teachers/leaders will become traveling companions, the directions are provided as an itenerary and background information will become the tour guide. In six weeks, we will retrace Jesus’ footsteps on his journey from the stable in Bethlehem to the eastern hills of Jerusalem and the road to Emmaus.

€The 10th annual Trailblazers Black History Program is at 4 p.m. Sunday at Eleventh Street Baptist Church.

€New Bethel Baptist Church has a banquet on March 3 in honor of its pastor, the Rev. Dr. E.J. Jackson’s 38 years of service. It is at 6 p.m. at the Learning Center on Double Springs Road. €Churches seeking to start or improve creative arts and youth mission ministries can benefit from practical training sessions at two upcoming Creative Ministries Festivals on March 2-3 at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville and March 9-10 at First Baptist Church in Bowling Green. €Bowling Green Christian Church has a Dynamic Marriage Class beginning in March. €Knights of Columbus sponsors an all-you-can-eat fish fry at St. Helen Parish Center, 406 Calvary Drive in Glasgow. The Knights prepare fish from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every Friday during Lent, beginning today and ending March 30. There is no meal on Good Friday. The cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under and free for children under 3.
