Russellville man accused of raping 15-year-old girl

A Russellville man was arrested Thursday as a fugitive and was found to be traveling with a missing teen, according to Kentucky State Police.
Marion D. Yarbrough, 34, of Russellville is charged with seven counts of third-degree (statutory) rape, seven counts of unlawful transaction with a minor, and is also wanted by the Louisville Metro Police Department on a charge of second-degree rape.

State police were searching for Yarbrough in Bowling Green in reference to the Louisville charge. A 15-year-old girl, reported missing from Miami, was with him, according to state police.
Yarbrough allegedly lured the teen to Kentucky through the Internet, according to state Trooper Todd Holder, public affairs officer for the Bowling Green post.
The girl told state police that Yarbrough told her he had just turned 21 and that he would send her a bus ticket so they could meet, according to the report.
She traveled from Miami to Nashville, where Yarbrough picked her up, according to the report.
Bowling Green Police Department Officer Ernie Steff and the department’s police dog found Yarbrough near Lost River Cave.
The FBI became involved after Miami agents contacted Special Agent Dick Glenn that the girl might be in the Bowling Green area, according to state police.

The girl was transferred to the Department of Child Protective Services, according to the report.
The case remains under investigation.
Yarbrough is in the Warren County Regional on two bonds totaling $17,500 cash.
