Western Kentucky junior guard Acacia Hayes has been named the Conference USA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

This is Hayes’ fourth weekly honor from CUSA in her career and the second Player of the Week award.

The Murfreesboro, Tennessee native has helped guide WKU to a 5-0 start to the season with a pair of wins last week. Hayes was the leading scorer against North Dakota on Sunday with 21 points and put up 14 points at Abilene Christian earlier in the week. She shot 50% from the field for the week, going 11-of-22 and made 6-of-14 shots from beyond the 3-point arc. The junior also posted 3.5 steals for the week after recording five at Abilene Christian.

WKU continues a three-game homestand on Wednesday against Tennessee State at 4 p.m. at E.A. Diddle Arena.
