Dorothy J. Crowe, 70, of Oakland died March 25, 2002, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.She was retired Western Kentucky University employee and a member of Mount Olla. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Britt and Lula Edmonds Britt, wife of the late Lloyd Leon Crowe and a long-time companion of Neal Hall of Oakland.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Oakland Mount Zion Baptist Church with burial in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Burnam & Son Mortuary.Survivors include six daughters, Betty Lewis of Glasgow, Anna Jones, Gladys Hite, Beatrice Proctor and Brenda Ray, all of Bowling Green, and Alice Sanders of Lake Geneva, Wis.; two sons, Chester Crowe and William Crowe, both of Kewanee, Ill.; three brothers, Alonzo Britt and Charles Britt, both of Bowling Green, and LeRoy Britt of Minneapolis; 33 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
