FRANKLIN Josephine Hicks Yates, 81, of Franklin died at 3:40 p.m. May 28, 2004, at her daughters home.The Logan County native was a Baptist and a daughter of the late Ben Hicks and Mattie Sue Bilyue Hicks. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jo Alford, three sisters and three brothers.The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.Survivors include four daughters, Faye Cantrell, Barbara Byrum and Brenda Hyde, all of Franklin, and Vickie Kluck of Portland, Tenn.; four sons, Kenneth, Jimmy, Danny and Ricky Alford, all of Franklin; two stepdaughters, Wanda Daily of Trussville, Ala., and Debbie Carver of Franklin; five sisters, Carol Bayles of Franklin, Ruby Welch, Ann Brigman and Ruth Bow, all of Indiana, and Wilma Simmons of Oklahoma; two brothers, Richards Hicks and Billy Hicks, both of Franklin; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  Daily News ·813 College St. ·PO Box 90012 ·Bowling Green, KY ·42102 ·270-781-1700
