LAFAYETTE, Tenn. Mary Hughes Goad, 85, of Westmoreland, formerly of Fountain Run, Ky., and Scottsville, Ky., died June 12, 2002, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.The Fountain Run native was a homemaker and member of Fountain Run First Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Bascom Clay Goad and Maude Jones Goad.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Survivors include two nephews, Carl S. Goad Jr. of Gallatin and Roger Goad of Lafayette; a niece, Bonnie Goad of Mascot, Tenn.; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
