Josephine Price Shackelford, 94, of New Albany, Ind., died at 10:57 a.m. Oct. 15, 2001, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Ind.The Logan County native was a member of St. John Presbyterian Church in New Albany. She was a daughter of the late Rhea G. Price and Katherine Cox Price. She was preceded in death by a son, Nat Huffman.Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Friends of Shawe & Pope John, 221 W. State St., Madison, Ind., 47250.Survivors include her husband, James Shackelford; a stepdaughter, Laurel Shackelford of Monterey, Calif.; two stepsons, Steve Shackelford of New York and Jerry Shackelford of Pennsylvania; a sister, Robin Lynch of Bowling Green; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
