GLASGOW Rodney Dowe Steenbergen, 65, of Glasgow died Dec. 1, 2002, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.The Barren County native was retired from the Navy, served in Vietnam, was a life member of Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Fleet Reserve, Austin Masonic Lodge 841 and Pleasant Home Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Acie Steenbergen and Ruby Pardue Steenbergen.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Linda Ellis Steenbergen; a daughter, Lana Sonoda of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, Dell Steenbergen and Larry Steenbergen, both of Glasgow; two daughters, Blond Duvall of Bowling Green and Juanita Jones of Scottsville; and three grandchildren.
