Christine Cricket Lindsey Roemer, 67, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Bowling Green, died May 23, 2002, in St. Petersburg.The Butler County native was a retired medical secretary, a certified master gardener with the University of Florida, a 1952 graduate of Bowling Green High School, a 1954 graduate of Bowling Green Business University, a former member of St. Joseph and Holy Spirit Catholic churches in Bowling Green and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in St. Petersburg and Legion of Mary. She was a daughter of the late Clifford Lindsey and Marjorie Minton Lindsey of Bowling Green, who survives.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with rosary service at 8:30 p.m.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice at Florida Sun Coast, 300 E. Bay Drive, Largo, Fla. 33770 or Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2232 Smallhouse Road, Bowling Green, Ky. 42104.Other survivors include her husband, Robert L. Roemer; four sons, David Roemer, Pat Roemer and Mike Roemer, all of Bowling Green, and Rob Roemer of Athens, Ga.; two daughters, Laura Champ of Seminole, Fla., and Cathy Cummings of Bowling Green; two brothers, Russell Lindsey of Morgantown and Randall Lindsey of Haines City, Fla.; three sisters, Betty Fuqua and Jill Harris, both of Bowling Green, and Doris Herberman of Spring Hill, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
