LEWISBURG Mindy Carol Hopper, 17, of Lewisburg died at 11:47 p.m. April 15, 2005, in Lewisburg as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

The Hopkinsville native was a junior at Logan County High School and a member of Beta Club, FCA Club and Yes Club. She was a daughter of David Hopper and Lorrie Ballard Hopper of Lewisburg, who survive. She was preceded in death Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Heights Baptist Church, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today and will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Epley Baptist Church, where she was a member, and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Heights Baptist Church. Price Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a memorial fund for Mindy Hopper and Michael Buchner, which will be set up at both locations of the Lewisburg Banking Co.

Other survivors include a brother, Scott Hopper of Lewisburg; maternal grandmother, Shirley Ballard of Lewisburg; maternal grandfather, David Ballard of Lewisburg; paternal grandmother, Martha Hopper of Sharon Grove; paternal great-grandmother, Rosena McKinney of Sharon Grove; and paternal great-grandfather, John Hopper of Sharon Grove.
