Charles Eastland Leroy Carwell, 23, of Bowling Green died at 11:15 a.m. April 21, 2005, at his home.
The Bowling Green native was a junior sociology major at Western Kentucky University and a member of The PresMemorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Broadway United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the college Sunday school class, with a private burial. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Broadway Methodist Church Welcome Center. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Presbyterian Church, 1003 State St., Bowling Green, KY 42101.
Other survivors include a sister, Amy Carwell Ross and her husband, Joe, of Lexington; paternal grandparents, Dr. Glenn Ray Carwell Sr. and Lou Mary Hulen Carwell of Bowling Green; aunts and uncles, Dr. Glenn Ray Carwell Jr. and his wife, Lynn, of Virginia Beach, Va., Keith Carwell and his wife, Nancy, of Bowling Green, Dr. David Carwell and his wife, Melanie, of Charleston, Ill., Ellie Christopher of Murray and Betsy Potter Reeves and her husband, Steve, of Louisville; and several cousins.
