Bowling Green Police Department officers arrested a Tennessee woman this morning, two days after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added her to its Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Kimberly P. Mangrum, 41, was wanted in Dickson County, Tenn., and Dickson, Tenn., for her alleged involvement in the kidnapping and murder of her husbands ex-wife, Lee Ann Mangrum.

The body was found Sept. 8, 2002, in a Dickson County creek and investigators think the woman was kidnapped, beaten and drowned by her son, Terry Mangrum Jr., her ex-husband, Terry Mangrum Sr. and Kimberly Mangrum, his current wife.

All three were charged with first-degree murder. Kimberly Mangrum was also charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated burglary and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Kimberly Mangrum was wanted because she disappeared after being released from jail on bond in the case. Investigators feared she would try to abduct her young child, who was in the custody of relatives.

City police arrested Mangrum without incident at 4:52 a.m. at the Economy Inn on U.S. 31-W By-Pass after spotting her car in the hotels parking lot.
