MUNFORDVILLE Jeff Callahan, 86, of Canmer died at 2:35 p.m. EDT April 3, 2005, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

The Owsley County native was a retired ornamental horticulturalist, a vocational agriculture teacher, a longtime student advisor and mentor to the Hart Memorial and Hart County Future Farmers of America and was employed Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Canmer Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Pearl Webb Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Brooks Funeral Home and will begin at 9 am. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Lyons Callahan; a son, Darryl R.
