BROWNSVILLE Leon R. Raymer, 76, of Brownsville died at 6:18 p.m. Sept. 23, 2000, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.The Edmonson County native was a farmer, a World War II Army veteran, a member of Wand B. Doyle chapter No. 32 of Disabled American Veterans and attended Asphalt Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Millard Fillmore Raymer and Lillie Mae Dalton Raymer.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial in Doyle Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Velma Martin Raymer; three stepsons, Ed Kemper and Stephen Kemper, both of Louisville, and Robert Kemper of Brownsville; two stepdaughters, Mary Suzanne Terrell of Louisville and Theresa Elizabeth Kemper of Brandenburg; a sister, Gladys Blanford of Louisville; eight stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
