Restaurant inspections for June 20-24, according to Barren River District Health Department, are as follows:

KFC, 1201 U.S. 31-W By-Pass, follow-up required because there was a distressed can of tomatoes; many pans were not clean or sanitized; and sanitizer was less than 100 ppm in last compartment sink (it must be 200 ppm); score 76.

Downing Center/Aramark, 1 Big Red Way, follow-up required because can opener, bowl, tomato slicer were not clean or sanitized; ice machine lids were not clean or sanitized in the dishroom; score 86. Passed immediate follow-up inspection; score 90.

Asian Super Market, 847 Broadway, follow-up required because there was a spray bottle with cleaner was not labeled; shell eggs were stored in the refrigerator at 50 degrees; there was no bleach in the sanitizer water; band saw was not adequately cleaned or sanitized; insect killer was stored with the kitchen cleaners; and medication and feather duster were stored in Coca Cola crate with various food contact utensils; score 75.

Dennys, 4700 Scottsville Road, follow-up required because milk shake agitator was not clean or sanitized; and the sanitizer dispensed at toxic level; score 78.

Arbys, 904 U.S. 31-W By-Pass, follow-up required because pizza bites were not at the proper temperature; refrigerator behind front counter was at 52 degrees; and utensil container and contents were not clean or sanitized; score 77.

Great Wall, 741 Campbell Lane, follow-up required because there were too many flies in the kitchen; score 86. Passed immediate follow-up inspection; score 99.

Wendys, 2648 Russellville Road, follow-up required because chili at the front counter warmer was not at the proper temperature; score 94. Passed immediate follow-up inspection; score 99.

Bowling Green Country Club, 251 Beech Bend Road, follow-up required because bleach water in the bucket was greater than 200 ppm (maintain at 100-200 ppm); score 93. Passed immediate follow-up inspection; score 98.

Quiznos, 1971 Cave Mill Road, follow-up required because there was no hot water at the mens sink; score 85.

Peanut House, 106 Creekwood Drive, passed; score 95.

Hadley One Stop, 12111 Morgantown Road, passed follow-up inspection; score 99.

Russell Sims Aquatic Park Concession, 225 E. Third Ave., passed; score 100.

Waffle House, 1979 Mel Browning Road, follow-up required because blender cups were not clean or sanitized; skillets and pans were not clean or sanitized; cubed ham was at improper temperature; and the inside of the ice machine lid was not clean or sanitized; score 83. Passed immediate follow-up inspection; score 92.

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation, 1300 Campbell Lane, passed; score 99.

The Gourmet Cafe Inc., 1751 Scottsville Road, passed; score 99.

Par Makers, 1080 Brownslock Road, passed; score 99.

Restaurants are inspected at least once every six months by Barren River District Health Department inspectors who use a 44-item checklist to evaluate a restaurants cleanliness, food handling and storage.

Follow-up inspections are done, if needed.
