Eda Frances Vance, 74, of Casselberry, Fla., formerly of Bowling Green, died Aug. 25, 2003, at her home.The Nortonville native was a retired customer relations worker in banking and a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Florida, where she was an usher and Eucharist minister. She was a daughter of the late Jack Downey and Lottie Horton Downey.Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel.Survivors include two sons, Roy Downey Vance and his wife, Cindy, of Tampa, Fla., and Phillip Kyle Vance and his wife, Madonna, of Dade City, Fla.; a daughter, Paula Kay Vance and her husband, Lonnie Keefover, of Orange, Calif.; a sister, Wynetha Schweitzer and her husband, Jim, of Cincinnati; a brother, Clyde Downey and his wife, Freda, of Fort Royal, Va.; a sister, Ann Flippo of Florence, Ala.; granddaughters, Kelly Valenti and her husband, Michael, of Louisville, Lacy Cohen of Mission Viejo, Calif., Jessica Vance of Tampa, Alexandra Cohen of Mission Viejo and Whitney and Stephanie Vance, both of Dade City, Fla.; a grandson, Andrew Vance of Tampa; and great-grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas and Dylan Valenti of Louisville.
