Florida man dies on I-65

A Florida man was killed Sunday in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 65 in Warren County. Mohammed Ha Karim, 52, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from a vehicle driven by Anisa Karim, 44, also of Pembroke Pines. According to Kentucky State Police, Anisa Karim was traveling north on I-65 at 4:24 p.m. when a rear tire on her 1995 Mercury blew. She lost control of the vehicle and it overturned several times. Anisa Karim, who was wearing her seat belt, and the other three passengers werent injured. Information about seat belt use was unavailable. The Warren County Sheriffs Department is investigating a string of thefts and burglaries that have been occurring for nearly two weeks in the Rockfield area. Deputy Joe Green said someone has been stealing unlocked trailers, 4-wheelers, items out of cars and has been burglarizing homes on Glen Lily Road to Blue Level Road. Green said investigators believe the person committing the thefts lives in the area where the thefts have occurred.
