Henry F. Hawkeye Meredith, 89, of Bowling Green died at 8:10 a.m. Feb. 20, 2003, at The Medical Center.The Warren County native was a general laborer for the City of Bowling Green and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Eugene Meredith and Isbell Jones Meredith and the husband of the late Victoria Lee Crabtree Meredith. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Steve Keown.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Karla Sue Meredith; four daughters, Joyce L. Miller, Marie Embry, Debra Poston and Shelia Black, all of Bowling Green; four sons, Henry Richard Meredith of Walters, Okla., and Eugene Meredith, Kenneth Meredith and Rex Meredith, all of Bowling Green; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
