Shawn Lee Williams Fishback, 20, of Oakland died at 12:22 p.m. Dec. 5, 2003, on Porter Pike as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. The Barren County native was a member and president of Liberty District Youth Conference, a former junior fireman of Gott Voluntary Fire Department, a former member of Warren East High School ROTC and attended Bowling Green Technical College. He was a son of James Vernon and Mary Buford Fishback, who survive. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Fredrick Lee Williams.Funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olla Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member, a member of the church usher board, Sunday school and secretary of brotherhood, with burial in Lou Green Cemetery in Hiseville. Visitation is in progress until 3 p.m. today at Gatewood and Sons Funeral Chapel and will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the church.Other survivors include a brother, Brant L. Fishback; grandparents, Robert and Linda Williams; a nephew, Jamison Fishback; a godsister, Sandra Dye Ford; a special friend, Krystal Barlow; and several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
