The Edmonson County baseball team swept a doubleheader from Cumberland County on Tuesday in Brownsville.

The Wildcats won the first contest 7-6 as both Rye Davis, Joseph Harper and Justin Salzman each hit home runs.

Ben Grey pitched all seven innings to earn the win.

The second game was a blowout – Edmonson County won 15-5 in five innings.

Davis hit a second home run and Logan Vincent was 4-for-4 with three doubles and four RBIs.

Edmonson County (5-1) opens play in District 12 on Thursday at Whitesville Trinity.
