SCOTTSVILLE – Starr Harris, 83, of Scottsville died at 3:52 p.m. April 25, 2006, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
The Allen County native was a retired employee of Potter-Brumfield and a member of New Buck Creek United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Freely Bishop Harris and Julie Thomas Hinton Harris. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Epley; and two brothers, Harris and Weldon Harris.
Graveside service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. Cremation was chosen. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Gideons International or to the Walker’s Chapel Fellowship Building Fund.
Survivors include three nieces, Sarah Nell Foster and her husband, Woodson, of Adolphus, Mary Lynn Page and her husband, Glen, of Smithville, Tenn., and Judy Farris of Scottsville; a great-niece and caregiver, Mendy Sullivan and her husband, George, of Scottsville; two great-nieces; a great-nephew; and a great-great-niece.
