Teresa Weitlauf joins Farmers National
Dan Harbison, president and chief executive officer of Farmers National Bank, announced Teresa Weitlauf joined the bank and will serve as internal auditor and credit analyst.
Weitlauf received bachelor of science degrees in accounting and finance from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill.
She has 10 years of commercial lending experience with an emphasis on loan underwriting and analysis. Most recently, she worked six years in public accounting, earning the certified public accountant designation in 2002.
She lives in Bowling Green with her husband, daughter and son, and the Weitlaufs are members of Living Hope Baptist Church. She also serves as treasurer for Centro La Esperanza Inc.
Citizens First Corp. prices stock offering
Citizens First Corp. of Bowling Green sold $14.4 million worth of stock and plans to use the money to help pay for its purchase of Kentucky Banking Centers Inc., the company said Friday.
In June, the company agreed to buy Kentucky Banking Centers, which has $126.6 million in assets and offices in Glasgow, Horse Cave and Munfordville.
The company expects to receive $12.9 million from the offering after underwriting discounts and expenses.
In addition to its main office in Bowling Green, Citizens has five offices in Warren and Simpson counties.

€Service One Credit Union and the American Red Cross of South Central Kentucky has a blood drive until 5 p.m. today at Service Once Credit Union’s 1609 Campbell Lane branch.
€March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation has its 2006 Best of Bowling Green from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Sloan Convention Center.
Young professionals membership drive set
Young Professionals of Bowling Green has a membership drive at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bowling Green Country Club.

McBroom appointed controller, director
Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO James N. Hizer announced the appointment of Brian McBroom, CPA, to serve as controller for the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and finance director for the Inter-Modal Transportation Authority. McBroom began his new position Wednesday.
McBroom, a graduate of Tennessee Technological University, previously served as the director of finance for the Upper Cumberland Development District in Cookeville, Tenn.
In his previous position, McBroom was responsible for all areas of finance, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation and payroll, as well as monitoring district-wide and individual program budgets.
McBroom is responsible for financial and human resource management of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bowling Green Area Economic Development Authority and the Inter-Modal Transportation Authority Inc.
Schafer joins staff at Graves-Gilbert
Jeremy Schafer, P.T., M.P.T., O.C.S., has joined Linda Pillow, P.T., and staff at Graves-Gilbert Clinic Physical Therapy.
He is a graduate of the University of Louisville Physical Therapy School in 2001. He is the only board-certified physical therapist in orthopedics in the Bowling Green area. He is working toward board certification in electrophysiology. He practiced in Brownsville prior to moving his practice to Bowling Green.
