Delbert W. Hemingway

GLASGOW – Delbert W. Hemingway, 71, of Glasgow died Aug. 20, 2006, at his home.

The Tell City, Ind., native was a former crane operator for B.F. Goodrich Company in Louisville. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Louisville and Hays Lodge No. 517 F & AM and was past master of Cave City Lodge No. 790. He was a son of the late Roy Hemingway and Ora Turner Hemingway. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Constant; and two brothers, Donald and Ernest Hemingway.

Funeral with masonic rites is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Bethany Memorial Park & Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Perkins Hemingway; two sons, John Stewart and his wife, Debbie, of Louisville and Michael Wayne Stewart, stationed with the Navy; three brothers, Larry, William Earl and Leroy Hemingway; two sisters, Jean Grimes and Nora Agnes; four grandchildren, Hugh and Jim Constant and Michael and Ciaria Stewart; and two great-grandchildren, Cole and Lilly Constant.
