Mitchell E. Carver

FOUNTAIN RUN – Mitchell Everett Carver, 63, of Fountain Run died Feb. 26, 2006, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

The Barren County native as a machinist at S.K.F. Industries and a Vietnam War veteran. He was a son of the late Lee Carver and Clara Inez Jones Carver.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fountain Run Old Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, with burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Austin-Tracy Fire Department or any other charity.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Turner Carver; a daughter, Christy Williams and her husband, Timothy, of Fountain Run; three grandchildren, Mollie, Mattie and Mitchell; and two brothers, Charles Lee Carver of Fountain Run and Julius Carver of Louisville.
