RUSSELLVILLE — Mary Elizabeth Statton, 55, of Russellville, died Dec. 29, 2009, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Logan County native was born Nov. 18, 1954. She was an LPN and a member of Stevenson Chapel Methodist Church. She was a daughter of Billy Duke Johnson and Christine Markham Johnson, of Russellville, who survive.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. today at Stevenson Chapel Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is in progress until 2 p.m. today at the church. Young Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Other survivors include her husband, Charles “Chuckie” Statton, of Russellville; a son, Michael Statton, of Russellville; three daughters, Michelle Callahan and her husband, Willie, of New Hope, Ala., and Jennifer Clayton and her husband, Anthony, and Elizabeth Statton-Flora and her husband, Kevin, all of Russellville; two brothers, Robert Johnson and his wife, Margaret, of Russellville, and Billy Johnson Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, of Utica, Kan.; two sisters, Patricia Sherman and Kathy Johnson, both of Russellville; and 10 grandchildren.
