Hammonds-Harper

James “Ricky” and Mary “Suzy” Hammonds of Bowling Green announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Renea Hammonds, to Michael Lee Harper, son of Larry Harper and Diana Hillard of Bowling Green.

Jamie attends Western Kentucky University and will graduate in December. She is the granddaughter of the late James Richard Hammonds Sr. and Nancy Louise Jones Hammonds, Billy Wendal Guess and her living grandmother, Ruby Jean Guess of Riverside.

Michael is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and is employed by Kroger. He is the grandson of the late Cliff and Dorothy “Dot” Harper and living grandparents, Jane Hulshart and Morris Smith and Gene Hulshart.

The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3, 2009, at Gasper River Retreat, where the reception will be held afterward.

Invitations have been sent, but all friends and relatives are invited.
