Barren County sophomore guard Weston Shelton scored a game-high 18 points to lead the third-seeded Trojans to a 56-50 win against Allen County-Scottsville in the District 15 Boys’ Basketball Tournament semifinals on Wednesday at Glasgow High School.

Gavin Nunn scored 15 points and Kade Hardy added nine points for the Trojans. Barren County (18-12), which earned a spot in next week’s Region 4 tournament with the win, will face district tournament host Glasgow in the championship game Friday night.

Aiden Grainger scored 14 points to lead the Patriots in the loss. Kyler Pedigo added 11 points and Braden Spears had 10 points for ACS (11-17).
