Purples close out regular season with win

Bowling Green junior guard Braylon Anderson scored 22 points to pace the visiting Purples to an 82-71 boys’ basketball win against Muhlenberg County on Friday night.
Anderson was 6-of-8 from 3-point range for the Purples, who closed out the regular season with a win.
Anthony Davis added 20 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Christian Muhire also reached double figures with 10 points, while Tre Thomas and Arlando Davis finished with nine points apiece for the Purples.
Bowling Green (19-11) will play in as the No. 4 seed in the District 14 tournament and will face host and No. 1 seed Warren Central on Tuesday.
Blazers 71, TCC 45
Ephraim Wood scored 23 points to spark the visiting Bluegrass Blazers to a 71-45 win against Todd County Central on Friday.
The Blazers, a Warren County-based homeschool program, also got 18 points from Baron Wilson in the win. Bo Hoffman chipped in with 12 points, Grant Brashear also scored in double digits with 10 points and Macon Graham finished with eight points.
Girls
Butler County 65, Hart County 42
Ava Wilson scored 24 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead homestanding Butler County to a 65-42 win against Hart County on Friday.
Ann Marie Skaggs added 13 points, Carly Cardwell finished with nine points and seven rebounds, and Karrington Hunt scored eight points for the Lady Bears.
Butler County (11-14) will face visiting Grayson County in the District 12 tournament semifinals on Monday.
