A man was struck and killed Thursday morning by a passing vehicle, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched around 11:04 a.m. Thursday to 5329 Penns Chapel Road after a caller reported that a man had walked into the road when he was struck by a motorist.

The man, whose name has not been released by authorities, was reportedly walking back to his car from his mailbox when he was hit and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was available as of Thursday afternoon.
