An Allen County teenager was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of murder after a woman and a child were found dead in a Scottsville home.

According to Kentucky State Police, Traci Trasky, 42, and a 12-year-old boy were found dead at a residence at 334 Stamps road in Allen County and Trasky’s vehicle was missing.

KSP was contacted just before 7 p.m. Wednesday to investigate, and the missing vehicle was found unoccupied on Pleasant Field Church Road.

KSP developed a suspect and, with the assistance of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the Scottsville Police Department and its drone, found a 17-year-old boy running through a wooded area.

The teenager, whose name was not released by KSP, was arrested after a short foot pursuit and charged with two counts of murder, tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking (auto) and first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot).

The investigation is ongoing.
