It was a big 24 hours for the Allen County-Scottsville boys’ basketball team, with Kyler Pedigo playing a large part in the success.

The senior guard dropped 40 points in a 90-75 win over Glasgow on Friday and followed that with 29 in Saturday’s 56-50 win over Barren County. The victories gave Allen County-Scottsville the No. 2 seed in the District 15 Tournament.

Pedigo credited head coach Jeremy Garrett with his success.

“It’s just the coach unlocking the leash on me and letting me play,” Pedigo said. “I just want to lead the team, basically be another coach on the team.”

The Patriots host Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
