Isaiah Summers scored 17 points in Monday’s win against Bowling Green, but it was the final two points that were the sweetest.

The Greenwood senior connected on a runner with 00.2 seconds lift to give the Gators an 84-82 win and secure a regular-season sweep over Bowling Green.

Summers said all he was thinking about was getting the shot off.

“Once we are in that situation, a fast-break situation, I know it is full steam ahead,” Summers said. “I’ve got to go. I’ve got to try to get to the rim and get the best shot possible. It just fell.”

Greenwood is scheduled to play at Warren Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
