Martell Tuttle is healthy and the Greenwood basketball team is reaping the benefits.

Tuttle scored a team-high 19 points, leading the Gators to a big District 14 win at South Warren on Jan. 22. The junior forward missed five games earlier this month, but has returned to provide a boost for Greenwood — which has won four straight and seven of the last eight.

“It was awesome, but I’ve got to thank my teammates,” Tuttle said. “They gave me the ball. They put me in position to score, so without them I wouldn’t have done it.”

Greenwood is scheduled to host District 14 rival Bowling Green at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
