Warren County grand jury returns indictments

The following people were indicted Wednesday by a Warren County grand jury:

Alex Xavier Angeles Casanova, 22, 4496 Wilford Lane, #513, second-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance, failure of owner to maintain required insurance; transfer bond.

Michael Lynn Beasley, 32, address unknown, possession of stolen mail matter, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $10,000; $2,500 cash bond.

Anthony Jones, 31, Antioch, Tennessee, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $10,000 by complicity; notice to appear.

Alyssa Lashai Bonnell, 25, 414 Trent Way, #D2, second-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, two counts of fourth-degree assault (domestic), leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance; transfer bond.

Joseph Demond Cockroft, 45, c/o Warren County Regional Jail, engaging in organized crime (criminal syndicate), six counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, two counts of theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $10,000 by complicity, possession of a forgery device, first-degree persistent felony offender; $10,000 cash bond in defendant’s name only.

Ashley Lashane Cox, 36, 715 Constellation Drive, engaging in organized crime (criminal syndicate), two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $10,000, possession of a forgery device; $10,000 cash bond in defendant’s name only.

Michael Jerome Simmons, 50, 1528 Nutwood St., engaging in organized crime (criminal syndicate), two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $10,000; $10,000 cash bond in defendant’s name only.

Corwin Jermaine-Mallon Coutee, 27, c/o Oakland County Jail, Pontiac, Michigan, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest; transfer bond.

Elijah Ke’Shawn Duvall, 25, Lexington, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; $1,000 cash bond in defendant’s name only.

Heather Lynn Hanson, 31, 224 Liberty St., Franklin, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure of owner to maintain required insurance; transfer bond.

Erik Maximillian Hatzinger, 48, c/o Central Michigan Correctional Facility, two counts of third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at less than $500; $10,000 cash bond.

Samuel Tyler Bruce Jones, 37, c/o Simpson County Detention Center, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (greater than two grams, meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to or improper signal, no rearview mirror, first-degree persistent felony offender; $2,500 cash bond.

Richard Alan Minton, 57, c/o Warren County Regional Jail, second-degree assault; $5,000 cash bond in defendant’s name only.

Zachary Tervail Lee Pace, 28, 201 Lafayette Road, Scottsville, trafficking in marijuana (five pounds or more), possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to wear seatbelt; $1,500 cash bond.

Darwin Roosevelt Roberson, 28, c/o Fulton County Detention Center, second-degree burglary, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at less than $500, second-degree criminal mischief; $2,500 cash bond.

Joshua Ray Underwood, 38, 1747 Fuqua Road, Rockfield, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $10,000, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree persistent felony offender; $2,500 cash bond; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure of owner to maintain required insurance; combine bond with other indictment.

Thomas Patrick Swingle, 58, homeless, first-degree terroristic threatening; $3,500 cash bond.

Courtney Elizabeth Winter, 29, 2145 Lealand St., three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants (aggravating circumstances), failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance; $5,000 cash bond in defendant’s name only.
