Pedigo’s 37 lifts Pats over East

Allen County-Scottsville senior guard Kyler Pedigo poured in a game-high 37 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the visiting Patriots to an 88-65 win in District 15 boys’ basketball action Thursday night.

Pedigo added three steals and an assist. Ay’Den Grainger chipped in with 15 points, eight rebounds and three steals, Braden Spears had 15 points and four assists, and De’Ante Grainger finished with eight points, seven rebounds and three steals.

ACS (7-10 overall, 2-2 District 15) is slated to host district rival Barren County on Monday.

Luke Barron scored 26 points to lead the host Raiders. Brayden Lightfoot added eight points and 11 rebounds, and Miyan Reynolds also scored eight points.

Warren East (1-19, 0-5 District 15) was slated to play Breckinridge County in the Bobby Rascoe Classic on Saturday at Daviess County.

FCA 78, Stem Academy 42

Logan Nix pulled down 26 rebounds and added 12 points as homestanding Foundation Christian Academy rolled to a 78-42 win against Nashville’s Stem Academy on Thursday.

Maddox Wilson led the Falcons with 19 points. Mason Moore scored 16 points and William Cummins had 13 points in the win.

FCA (12-5) was scheduled to host Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy on Friday night.

Trinity (Whitesville) 59, Butler County 46

Visiting Trinity (Whitesville) claimed a 59-46 win against District 12 rival Butler County on Thursday.

Cooper Embry led the host Bears with 14 points in the loss. Curtis Murphy added 12 points and Cainan Vincent chipped in with eight points.

Butler County (1-18, 0-4 District 12) is scheduled to visit Hancock County on Monday.

Girls

ACS 71, Warren East 47

Avery Morris scored a game-high 31 points to pace visiting Allen County-Scottsville to a 71-47 win against Warren East on Thursday.

Morris added eight steals and four assists for the Lady Patriots. Allison Ford chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds in the win.

ACS (13-5, 3-1 District 15) is scheduled to host district rival Barren County on Monday.

Warren East (8-9, 1-4) is slated to host Butler County on Monday.

Butler County 76, Trinity (Whitesville) 60

Ava Wilson poured in a game-best 31 points to boost Butler County to a 76-60 win against visiting District 12 foe Trinity (Whitesville) on Thursday.

Ann Marie Skaggs tallied 18 points and Karrington Hunt finished with 10 points in the win.

Butler County (8-9, 2-2 District 12) is scheduled to visit Warren East on Monday.
