About 40 protestors including members of SOKY Indivisible gathered at the intersection of Nashville Road and Campbell Lane on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, to protest the slow release and large redactions of the Epstein files. In mid-November 2025, President Donald J. Trump signed Congress’ Epstein Files Transparency Act, which required the Department of Justice to publish files related to the crimes of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein by Dec. 19. Nearly a month after the deadline, a fraction of the files have been released to the public.
