It was a historic week for Edmonson County senior forward Cariann Williams, who recorded back-to-back triple doubles in wins over Warren Central and South Warren.

Williams had 26 points, a career high 21 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 74-17 win over Warren Central. She followed that up with 28 points, 18 rebounds and 16 blocks in a 75-47 win over South Warren.

She credited her teammates with her success.

“My post game is very dependent on how my teammates get the ball to me,” Williams said. “If I am successful in the paint, they are successful outside the paint and I can get it to them.”

Edmonson County hosts the Rafferty’s/Double Dogs Classic beginning Monday.
