Allen County-Scottsville junior Avery Morris continues to put up big numbers for the Lady Patriots, helping ACS sprint out to a strong start.

Morris scored 24 points in Saturday’s 47-40 win at Bowling Green, Allen County-Scottsville’s first win against the Lady Purples since 2016.

She entered Monday’s game against Logan County averaging 28.4 points a game. Morris credited her teammates with her growing confidence.

“My teammates really hype me up,” Morris said. “Seeing them score puts a smile on my face because they work as hard as me. It’s just awesome to be getting these good wins.”

ACS plays at Barren County on Thursday.
