As the 2025 season comes to a close, Conference USA announced its 2025 Softball All-Academic team awards on Friday with WKU’s Maci Masters earning a spot.
Masters was awarded for her work both in the classroom and on the field as the award is voted on by academic advisors around the conference.
In her first year as a Hilltopper and in her sophomore year academically, Masters posted a 3.90 GPA as an elementary education major.
On the field, Masters is leading the Hilltoppers in batting average (.326), slugging percentage (.688), home runs (14), and total bases (95).
In the conference standings, she’s ranked fourth in home runs, sixth in slugging percentage, ninth in on-base percentage (.447), fifth in OPS (1.135) and sixth in RBIs.
Masters also set the single-game program record in home runs and RBIs. In the 12-10 win over UTEP on March 22, she hit three home runs and totaled eight RBIs, going a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate.
The sophomore will look to help the Hilltoppers secure a spot in the CUSA Tournament this weekend in the series against Jax State.
