KSP searching for escapee

Law enforcement are searching for an escaped inmate who walked off a work detail in Simpson County Friday.
The individual was identified as 50 year old Christian Jones, Post 3 of the Kentucky State Police stated.
KSP stated Jones is 5 feet, 10 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. KSP stated Jones walked away from a work detail on North College Street in Franklin and was last seen traveling toward Tennessee in a blue Subaru Baja.
KSP received the call from the Simpson County Jail at 10 a.m. The investigation is being led by Trooper Adam Morgan.
