WHITE HOUSE – Tania Alexander, also known respectfully by her birth name Tatiana Ponomarenko, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Baku, Azerbaijan, Tania pursued higher education, earning a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Seeking new opportunities, she immigrated to the United States in 1990.

Here, she applied her industrious nature, working as a real estate agent and managing rental properties. She also owned and operated an online e-commerce business. Tania cherished life and lived it fully.

She found great joy in dancing, playing backgammon, and spending precious time with her beloved friends. She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly: her son, Vladimir Koyfman; her daughter-in-law, Natalia Koyfman; and her adored grandson, Lennox Koyfman.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at 1:00 PM at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel, located at their Broadway Avenue location in Bowling Green, KY. A funeral service and interment will follow at 3:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY.
