William Ray “Ray” Davis

Bowling Green – William “Ray” Davis, age 73, passed away at his home on April 19, 2025. He was born to the late Romer Lee Davis & Florence Barthena Tinsley. Ray is also preceded in death by his father, Bill Clayton Tinsley; his daughter, Tina Lou Jones and his brothers, Jerry Tinsley & Troy Davis. Ray was a retired body mechanic and antique dealer. He was passionate about his family and friends. He was a very talented artist and musician who played the banjo, guitar, harmonica, keyboard, and sang. Ray is survived by his companion of 30 years, Kathleen Kennedy; his daughters, Emily Meador (Larry), Jenny Davis; sisters, Nancy Carter (Randy), Judy Kees (the late Stanley); grandchildren, Adrian Levisohn (Julio), Andrew Meador (Meredith), Ashton Meador; and a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel.
