Hilltoppers to play in Battle 4 Atlantis

Western Kentucky’s men’s basketball team will compete in the 2025 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament on Nov. 26-28.

Entering its 14th year of collegiate play, the tournament will take place in Imperial Arena at Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas.

The 2025 B4A men’s field will include Colorado State, Saint Mary’s, South Florida, Vanderbilt, VCU, Virginia Tech, Wichita State and WKU. The tournament will consist of 12 games over three days with the full bracket and broadcast schedule set to be announced at a later date.

It will be the second appearance in the Battle 4 Atlantis for the Hilltoppers, who played in the the tournament in 2017. In that appearance, WKU opened with a 66-58 loss to No. 5 Villanova, then beat No. 8 Purdue 77-73 before closing out the tournament with a 63-61 win against SMU.

The Hilltoppers are coming off a 17-15 season under first-year head coach Hank Plona.
