Allen County-Scottsville senior Jacie Rice is having a blast in the Lady Patriots lineup.

Hitting second, Rice has delivered a team-best 25 hits with 21 RBIs – which ranks second on the Lady Patriots. In Tuesday’s win over Bowling Green. Rice finished with three hits and three RBIs to help ACS roll to a fifth straight win.

Rice said confidence in her teammates has led to her success.

“It’s great, knowing that I have Ally (Anderson) that can get on first and I can move her around,” Rice said. “I know if I don’t do my job correctly, I have people behind me that will be able to execute that as well.”

Allen County-Scottsville plays at Barren County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
