Johnson’s 5-RBI day leads Purples over Adair

Bowling Green junior Logan Johnson tallied a home run and a triple and drove in five runs as the host Purples rolled to a 15-0 baseball win in four innings against Adair County on Monday.
Landon Gilbert added a 2-for-2 day with three RBIs, Harrison Yates and Grayson Newman tallied two RBIs apiece, and Drew Isenberg and Andru Jones each added an RBI in the win.
Eli Kries started and earned the win after pitching three shutout innings, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Isenberg finished up with a scoreless inning of relief.
Bowling Green (7-3) was slated to host Wayne County on Tuesday.
Glasgow 15, Nicholas County 0
Hudson Gumm went 2-for-4 with a double, a pair of stolen bases and five RBIs to pace Glasgow to a 15-0 win in five innings against Nicholas County on Monday in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Evan Templin was 2-for-2 with an RBI, Carter Hodges drove in a pair of runs and stole two bases, Braylen Caldwell tallied a double and an RBI, and Garett Shields, Trace England, Landon Martin, Camden Nolley and Steven Garrett notched one RBI each for the Scotties.
Austin Parker started and earned the win after firing three shutout innings, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out four. Cooper Hatton and Thomas Glass each pitched a scoreless inning of relief, with both striking out the side.
Glasgow (4-6) was slated to face Western Hills and Washington County on Tuesday in Fort Walton Beach.
Tampa Catholic 5, Barren County 2
Barren County dropped a 5-2 decision to Tampa Catholic on Monday in Tampa, Florida.
JP Hyde went 3-for-4 with a double and Sutton Hyde was 3-for-4 with two stolen bases to lead the Trojans in the loss. Gavin Coffey added a double and and RBI.
Barren County (5-6) was set to face Paul Laurence Dunbar on Tuesday at Baseball City in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Campbellsville 12, Edmonson County 6
Campbellsville claimed a 12-6 win against Edmonson County on Monday in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Julie Norris went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a pair of RBIs to lead the Lady Cats in the loss. Lillie Webb was 2-for-4, and Emma Price, Shelby Sowders Brooklyn Carroll and Abigal Hogg each drove in a run.
Edmonson County (4-5) was set to play West Jessamine and Hart County on Tuesday in Fort Walton Beach.
Harrison County 7, ACS 3
Harrison County topped Allen County-Scottsville 7-3 on Monday in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Addison Law went 3-for-3 with a double to lead the Lady Patriots in the loss. Jacie Rice was 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, and Brooklyn Oliver added two RBIs.
ACS (9-2) was slated to take on Western Hills on Tuesday in Pigeon Forge.
